Five years ago today, a large group of Americans rallied in DC and sought redress of their grievances over what they believed to be a stolen election.
They were set up. By the government. Two were murdered. Thousands spent four years in an underground jail without charges against them. Many plead to excessive charges just to have certainty in their future. One died in custody.
Trump pardoned them. But no one can give them back their dignity or the years they spent being tortured by the government they loved.
