I don’t think it’s related to USAID. It’s just going/gone out of fashion and been quietly dropped by all but the genuinely mentally unwell, the same as anorexia in the 90s or cutting in the 2000s.

Which leads to the depressing question of what will be the next wave of self harm for teenage girls.

Trans activists have hacked into the website of the Free Speech Union (FSU) and published a list of its donors online.

A direct action group calling itself Bash Back said it had breached the FSU’s online security and was revealing the names of all those who had donated more than £50 over the past two years.

Hours after the list of names appeared online, the FSU obtained an emergency injunction from the High Court, forcing the group to remove the donor details.

Much shovelling taking place. Dog unimpressed, so we didn’t get to see what the high back roads are like.

Going to need the shovel, not the broom, but not as bad as was forecast.

Despite dire warning of 30cm, so far I have maybe a whole half inch where it’s drifted into the corner of the patio (and bare at the other end): I think it’s a squib, although I may be shovelling hard come morning.

It’s useful when you have slush that will refreeze, so the grit/sand gets frozen into the surface. But yeah, cars would make short work of it.

Vast under-prosecution, I’m sure.

Really? Huh, that is weird.

That said, if my patio really ices up then I do use grit because it won’t hurt the ducks when they eat it.
