Today I did a guided meditation (meditação da palavra) about being able to absorb the learnings from the Scriptures. The friar talked about how the messages - in his metaphor, the seeds - are always the same, while the outcome depends on how each person is able to receive and use them - in other words, how does the soil look like.
Made much sense to me, beyond the spiritual message behind it.

“Que o terreno do meu coração seja terra boa para acolher Tua Palavra”
“May the soil of my heart be good ground to receive Your Word.”

This applies to so many life situations, and I really hope I’m being good ground enough to receive and give back the love that people pour over me with respect, fairness and gratitude.

I wonder where you’ve been eating Brazilian food, hehe. From where I come from we don’t really have yellow dishes and seasoning starts with a ton of onions and garlic and that’s just tasty stuff.

Being an autodidact myself and having been on this journey to (self) learning many random subjects like languages, crafts, coding and now using AI tools, I couldn’t agree more that I’m not that terrified of being replaced by AI.
Not because I think I do things better, but because I’m putting the work to understand and boost my work or change processes.
