If you don’t specify a relay, you’ll need a relay discovery mechanism—and that’s also not very friendly - for example, an initial relay list is needed for initialization, or the user needs to configure the relay list, etc.

Tried this out the other day, imo UX needs work. No clear way to start a chat without being invited.
There are actually entry points for Add Friend and Invite Friend in the UI (see the screenshot). Once you add someone, you can start a chat directly.
Do you feel the entry points are easy to miss, or were you expecting a “Start Chat” button somewhere?
