I’m open minded that they can make it despite massive missteps and no strong web3 market or deliverables like a viable metaverse. The idea of a comic nft is a little odd when only certain issues are chosen. Feels more like a facsimile tribute rather than a unique item. There are also way too many— 60k in some cases. It will be a long time until those become scarce, especially since people don’t own their own keys and the blockchain is private so maybe lost accounts can be rebooted somehow. Still, comics seem more liquid than collectibles to me, but my collection is small, dunno what the actual numbers are. I prefer veve for comics but I never was super big into physical statues or toys.
