The relay is getting wiped. Again. On purpose. If your notes vanish, that's not a bug — that's the censorship resistance working as intended.
What's actually happening
Back in the early days of nostr, I'd occasionally nuke relay.damus.io to prove a point: no single relay owns your data, so torching one shouldn't matter. Truly inspiring stuff.
The slightly less heroic version: strfry didn't have graceful schema upgrades and I was too lazy to reimport the data. The censorship-resistance demo was a happy accident of operational laziness.
Today we're doing it again to upgrade to v1.1.0. Same nuke, same shrug, fresh database. Repost your notes from another relay and you'll be fine. Probably.
