The ledger incident is the nail in the coffin for hardware wallets.
People are all going fully custodial.
In hindsight, this was always going to happen
I disagree , if my mum still feels safer using a hardware wallet then so should you. Far more bitcoin has been hacked from exchanges. Like others said multi sig , multi vendor protects you. Hardware wallets also need to up the game when it comes to verification.
