I strongly believe like 80% of Americans agree on enough to keep our union and core values (life, liberty, property, bill of rights, markets, etc) alive.
It’s the 20% of the far left and far right ...
I believe in that 80% as well, but most of them don't know that they're in that group!
I spend an embarrassing amount of energy trying to convince people that the "other side" are not other Americans but politicians and oligarchs. They quickly agree and then immediately share a story about the stupid MAGA/libtards.
