Heck, I can even nitpick on your nitpicking post, for instance when you write “In Nix packages are values”: Nix doesn’t let you define disjoint types, so there’s no “package” type, which is the point here.

This, in turn, has a real impact on the kind of interface that is built. (Eelco Dolstra discussed this at length in their Guix Days talk a few years ago!)
