First, Santa Claus wey dem know today—fat man, red cloth, white beard—na Coca-Cola draw am for 1931 advert. Before that time, Santa no get one look. Some people draw am like small man, some like thin man, some even draw am like elf. Na only after Coca-Cola advert, everybody start copy that same red-and-white Santa.
Dem dey talk say Santa come from St. Nicholas and Sinterklaas, but dem no talk say before Coca-Cola, nobody sabi how Santa suppose look. Na Coca-Cola give am the uniform wey everybody dey use now. If Coca-Cola no do that advert, Santa for still dey look like anyhow.
