Yeah concrete waits for no one. If you’re not ready for your pour, it’s thousands of dollars. And once it is set up, even your weeping tile voids through the garage footings are a major pain in the ass off you miss one. I’ve been on the end of a shovel, a jackhammer and a concrete chainsaw a few times because I missed something on a foundation inspection.

it’s sometimes better to cancel your pour if your not 100% ready. once those trucks start showing up, they have to dump out. but the ramifications of pouring without all the proper utilities, rebar or block outs in place can cause further damages to the check book and reputation
