Both Kepler and newton would have said that Christ was their king and lord.

Kepler was deeply devout Lutheran who saw his astronomical work as revealing God’s geometric plan for creation. He literally described his science as “thinking God’s thoughts after Him.”

Newton spent more time on theology than physics. He wrote extensively on biblical prophecy and chronology, considered his scientific work subordinate to his religious investigations, and saw gravity as evidence of God’s active governance of the universe.
