I must be missing something then. I not concerned hypothetical future proposals that don't exist. Based on BIP110 alone, what sort of transactions will be disrupted?

BIP-110 disrupts transactions carrying data in OP_RETURN outputs above the proposed threshold. Inscriptions, timestamping services (OpenTimestamps), some colored coin protocols, any data commitment scheme that relies on OP_RETURN for storage. It's not hypothetical. Those uses exist today. The 'future proposals' concern is about what comes after you've established that consensus can judge transaction purpose. You don't ban ordinals and then stop. You've opened the door to 'this data doesn't belong' as a consensus argument.
