Maybe the way Nostr can get more people is by making it a good choice for semi-closed hyperlocal mini-social-networks, like a low-effort impromptu social network for a neighborhood, a church, a school...
i can give you a example, people here don´t want instagram and facebook, its a mix of countries, they think they can be more connected and be more connected to other communities if they feel time and energy for it, if not its ok. So i introduce them Lora , now they use it .....for communications and money(lightning+ecash + just paper money or just a simple trade of apples with eggs or whatever....for "social media" they dive into nomadnetwork(reticulum network by lora or TCP) from the community. Im trying to manage the infrastruture to be strong and resilient, is a journey , open source you know...i think i get your point and i hope i can introduce Nostr in a layer to this community. #asknostr
