Ditto has a new Blossom server written in Rust, that is up to 170x faster than the original blossom-server in Deno lol https://blossom.ditto.pub/
170x is an order of magnitude that suggests the original wasn't slow at serving but at everything around it — hashing, dedup, signature checks. When blob storage stops being the bottleneck, does that change what kind of media Nostr posts can carry, like galleries or short video becoming normal instead of heavy exceptions?
