My day began by being awoken by a phone alert that war had broken out, progressed to HOA neighbor hell, and ended with the abrupt arrival of the worst power outage I’ve experienced in the Netherlands (where the power is much more reliable than anywhere I ever lived in the US).

Which means that the building group chat is now about the power outage and not putting my dog on trial for smelling like a dog, so it’s an improvement. Though we did have to make Odin go down and up six flights of stairs for evening walkies because the outage isn’t expected to be resolved until after we’re all asleep
