This is a huge part of why I refuse to use KYC services or custodians. Anyone who thinks giving the state all of your damned information when you are trying to "opt out", then storing it in a custodian, especially one like an exchange that actively complies with governments is ok, is quite frankly...

Id like to point out that 98% of people saying they are ready to fight the state all have a custodial LN address in their bio. This is just my opinion, but I find it imperative that people learn to use the existing tools out there so they're not caught with their pants down when shit hits the fan....

I agree but... 1. It depends on the state. 2. State hostility is preferable to KYC everything which is current status quo. While it's scary becoming an outlaw, it's better long term.
