Is there some kind of game console that has the hardware power of a PS1 or N64 that people can make their own games for and share on the internet? I think that would be my ideal platform. #videogame...

@nprofile1q... Any reason you don't want to do N64 or PS1 dev directly? N64 homebrew has exploded recently with a ton of tools to make it easier.

Would also be interested if there were any SBCs or FOSS game console with N64 level graphics though.
