I'd be interested in seeing a stratumv1 solo miner using bitcoin core's mining interface.
That would make sense, for ppl who want to do without a "solo pool".
What's fairly easy (I'm being told), is installing publicpool on your favorite node hosting OS alongside your bitcoin node, and point your solo miner to the local pool. Haven't tried it myself yet.
