@nprofile1q... I've been thinking about giving Gentoo a try. How good is the binary repo situation? I've heard Gentoo now runs binary repos for all the common architectures, which might defeat the point of running Gentoo, but I just can't imagine having to wait ~3 hours for my laptop to recompile Chromium or Firefox every week.
