Spinning rust is not ideal right? I recall you have some issues like 8 months ago with slow disks IIRC?
Yeah I recommend at least thunderbolt 4 speeds (3GB+/s RW)
Otherwise it will work but will be quite slow
For example the servers setup is 2x base Mac mini + sateshi enclosure and 2TB WD black ssd which works pretty well
Doing my best to limit the hardware needed but with so much going on in the suite it’s not that easy
