In Poland, there's a 19% capital gains tax with no tax-free allowance, while in the Czech Republic, profits are tax-free after a three-year holding period. Some Bitcoiners will also be drawn to Prague for work. A Bitcoin-only ecosystem has already been established there.

At the end of the day, there are more things to consider than a single tax figure. No matter if they change this law or not, the point of no return has probably passed for Germany.
