The problem is that the US operates under an imperial system that trumps international laws, jurisdictions and borders. You just saw this: the governments of Iceland and Portugal enforcing the orders of the US government for stuff that isn't even criminal.

turns out everyone is under american rule if you need the dollar. even still id rather be outside the US borders to reduce the frequency and severity by which they can fuck with me and my loved ones.
