These are interesting aspects I wasn't aware of. I operate a dozen repeaters, and that's precisely the problem. Currently, I'm reducing the number to optimize the routes. If the network becomes denser, this might be a solution. At the moment, we're establishing segmentation via regions or scopes. This is working better than expected on a voluntary basis. Local traffic remains local. Some of the largest repeaters are already blocking traffic without a scope
