i was talking about the reaction to a change, not disk size. this soft fork is not even a change it just hardens what was the norm, for a year.

and when it comes to disk space, yeah normies aren't gonna run it. it takes too much space. they would use that space for games and other files.

not to mention how hard its to have a useful node. for the general population, without buying a separate hardware for it.

Normies don’t own Bitcoin why would they run a node? People only need to run a node to protect their own interests when transacting with their coins.
