Yesterday I was at a neuro-psychologist talking about the possibility that my 8yo daughter might be autistic. One of the doctor mentioned is (paraphrasing) "but also because she is a girl". This is not the first time I hear girls/women have different psychology. This surprises me, but I'm open to the possibility.

Does anyone have links to readable (i.e. not papers) articles about this? This probably would help me in my relationship with her.
