We build, and some gets adopted.
If I had to do it all over again, I might not have used the 2.0 name
I would suggest that, if we expand or adopt new namespaces, we don’t strictly need to use <podcast:__> namespaces or have them be officially Podcast Index creations. The more important thing is we have a community willing to experiment with new tags.
