That's rough! I had to scramble to find four jobs last year. I found out that my current main source might get sued out of existence. I'm thinking about going solo to compete with them, and maybe fill in part of the gap they leave behind. There are some large challenges with that, however, but it's the only idea that keeps me sane.

Maybe it's time for you two to sit down and brainstorm on an ideal business to run? I know you've been looking for a career change, so this may be a great way for you to support a passion that both of you can get behind.

I only know about one of his talents, but I'm not sure how lucrative that could be. Pastry businesses generally don't make money. Maybe he could do that as a fun side project while other wheels are turning. Your family will be in my prayers to have a heavenly outcome!
