Not a fail on your part, or on Vitor’s part. But a huge fail for user experience on Nostr to have to keep pasting nsecs all over the place. This means every device I want to use must have my private key on it? Unacceptable. Again, not your fail, or Vitor’s. But it’s a shitty requirement for nostr to make of users.
