I just used the screen recording and mic both built in on the android phone. I imported and edited it in my DAW (Reaper).

Ok cool. What if I wanted to do it from a desktop computer or laptop? Any app suggestions to download so I could do something similar but from my computer? Just curious.

To screen record computer I use OSB. But it's overkill just for that. There's simpler solutions I'm sure.

I think the app I use on desktop is just called screen record. On the phone I use xrecorder. Both very versatile

On my Mac I just do a screen recording and it works well. Any demo video I post is done that way. Just a mic plugged into my Mac mini and it grabs everything then I run it through handbrake to compress it.
