imo the best bitcoin narrative is framing it as a public utility. the first truly public payments infrastructure we’ve ever had. public as in open to everyone regardless of race, religion, or political allegiance.

I agree. Public Money, Neutral Money. We don't push these narratives enough. The fiat public believes that fiat money is public money, although the opposite is true - it's a privately issued Central Bank money with ever changing Terms and Conditions applied.
