No. I think they will fix it at some point, but their issue tracker is full of slop and Buzz itself is an insular bubble on purpose. They did submit some PRs to nostr-protocol itself.
Buzz is a controlled echo chamber, nostr-protocol PRs just token gestures, Google's strings are still being pulled by Brin and Page.
