It has been my long term plan to add community/Discord/Slack-style features to nostr:nprofile1qy88wumn8ghj7mn0wvhxcmmv9uq32amnwvaz7tmjv4kxz7fwv3sk6atn9e5k7tcpzamhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuurjd9kkzmpwdejhgtcqyr...
I really appreciate the offer. I spent an hour looking through the nostria app and source code, and I'm really impressed. There is a lot there, it's well architected (thanks to angular), and, best of all, reasonably fast and consistent, which is hard to do on nostr.
I obviously have reservations, both about letting AI go ham, and about letting someone else commit freely to the repository. I'm also not sure we have the same design paradigm (I'm a less-is-more sort of person, nostria already is feeling a little feature-bloated/power-user-y). Enough of what flotilla is is in my head, I don't know if "have at it" would be the right approach, although there are a few isolated things I want to get done that I could use help on:
- Building a relay admin panel for my hosting service (I'm planning to vibe code the first version of this anyway)
- Add voice calls.
- Refactor away from svelte 5. I wouldn't even consider doing this without LLMs, but with them it might not be too bad.
- Re-write the pomade signer so it can be run on a secure enclave in a better language than javascript.
Most of the work I do is design, not so much coding. Cases in point: pomade, relay push. Next up is role based access control, which is going to require a lot of thought.
I'm always up to learn how to code better with LLMs though, I've done a few tutorials and it never really makes sense to me. Given what you've accomplished with nostria though, I'd love to see what your workflow looks like.
Let's meet and chat, I'll DM you a calendar link.
