then the bip110 "solution" would be the vaxx

Then most people would experience mild symptoms,
while news and some celebrities (X & Nostr influencers) would claim its a matter of life or death ("bitcoin's future and security!")

Influencers would like to shame you in to adopting the vaxx,
Because otherwise you're immoral and/or a moron.

Natural immunity (the fee system) would be ignored and wearing a mask (knots node filters) would not be enough to do the trick.

To stop the spread we should change bitcoin's dna permanently, using a "temporary" solution (don't worry: "safe and effective!")

People you don't know would start shouting at you for not being for the dna changing vaxx and wearing a mask.

The "solution" needs to be rushed, people need to be all worked up, and almost no one is informed about the possible long term consequences of fighting mild symptoms, with a dna changing proposal, while ignoring the natural immunity already in place and working.



I am a bit weary after the covid years combined with people repeating certain behavior under just a bit of (peer) pressure...

"If it ain't broke, don't fix it" might be suitable here as well. We literally start forever wars trying to fix what wasn't broken in the world. And it is not in our benefit.
