I also don't know why he's mentioning robotics. Nothing has happened in robotics. It's still the hard won incremental progress of the past 30 years. Drones have found new applications in war. I guess you could call that robotics. I do think THAT is "kind of a big deal."

I love technology, but hype is so harmful.

Nonetheless this is where we are.
