I never thought Apple would stand in the way of progress and innovation like this. It’s turning into just another IT company.

They’re likely afraid of any type of decentralization as they feel it will take revenue from them at one point in time and in time we’ll see a new decentralized app based mobile platform overtake them.

the app store monopolies have been problematic for a long time and are more of a problem with each passing day, still amazed no one has done much (apparently) to resolve it in a meaningful way. yes it's a lot of work, will continue thinking a lot about this
