They used to put adapters in the phone box. The first i have is from an s8 (9years ago) back them i used it to put mp3 in the car drive. (Just make them with usbc was the obvious next step for speed and reliability).

Also that adapters work for mouses/keyboards/HDMI/pc headsets since then. If you have an typeC dongle ( that apple made famous years later) them work on android by default.
