Nostr quick fix that no one wants to do, looks like a shitpost but is probably real: The major nostr clients shadowban all Bitcoin slogans, price chat, pfps, references, "memes", AI images, ai pfps, ...

Imagine if the next major update Damus and amethyst agreed to shadowban or completely filter out as spam all Bitcointwitter stuff, all slogans, all pfps with Bitcoin, all bitocinal AI images, all the crappy "memes" etc etc.

If you want the nostr bitcointwitter2 experience you can have a fork of the client.

How many people would choose the filtered over the Bitcoin unfiltered I wonder? #asknostr

I'd do it. I already mute most of the slogans. I'd even take a toggle or separate feed. The moderate position.

Download amethyst, go to the block section and write down all the Bitcoin words and trading words. And macro trading words and all that, and you'll have the client that you want

Nostr needs an opt in cascading delegated moderation system. People who want to filter out this stuff can collectively do so and the larger their group gets the more effective the filters will be. This is basically a web of trust system.
