This account was set up for the belief in sound money, choic le, decentralisation and self-plug - to sell our cryptocurrency platform concepts. There is no shame in that. Tireless work has been dedicated towards it. Our products are close and already awesomely used by our collaborators.

Bitcoin has allowed developers to develop nostr. That is magnificent.

Yet, we neither universally believe purely in the bitcoin protocol as the ONLY form of momey, yet think it is a great replacement for fiat. Humans should be able to barter, write a receipt to confirm exchange of goods. Exchanging silver or gold is perfectly fine. Those that have children may exchange babysitting and school pickups without needing to pay for it or put it on a Blockchain.

Most altcoins are either shit coins or adaptations of the Blockchain protocol for a specific purpose. Some developers found these new protocols easier to develop on than with bitcoin. As a developer, good for them in trying something different.

Other developers felt the need to build their own for different use cases. Honest people trying their best should not be demonised, just as new operating systems may evolve.

Many altcoins are misguided, scams or total failures. This happens. To sit there in an ivory tower demonising the whole innovation effort is peurile.

In closing, appreciate the beauty of bitcoin and the hundreds of thousands and millions of innovations it has spawned.
