If it’s this complicated, I don’t really see how it could work. That’s the problem. Public keys are cheap to create. Anything more than that is just begging for a centralized solution.
Complexity is price. If the cost of self-sovereignty feels too high, you simply want to buy freedom back cheaply. Pay the cost or lose your soul.
