As funny as Steve is trying to be, and yes it does fail for deeper analysis, there's a different explanation. Most men find hair attractive, and the way you style your hair says something about you. So if you were styling your hair in a way that repels certain men, maybe that is your goal maybe it isn't, just be aware you're doing it.
