Your last point is true and valid ✌🏼 But are we blaming the ICE officers in charge? I don’t see an investigation happening or at least blaming the people that recruited / educated him…

I totally agree there. There should be a proper investigation or at least acknowledgment of poor handling. But let’s be real, nothing will satisfy those protesting.

You think they would accept a decision that resulted in no charges against the ICE agent? even if the truth of the events (which we will never know or be able to qualify) supported that outcome? No bloody way.

Do you think they would all of a sudden show respect for ICE if they made an example of the agent at fault? No bloody way

That is true, honestly I haven’t thought about that. It wouldn’t change the behavior of these not so rational people (on both sides!). I still think that it’s the moral obligation of a country to investigate these happenings and make it as transparent as they can - I don’t see that happening...
