It's true. Doge transaction fees are like $0.17 whereas Bitcoin Lightning transactions are like $4.00. I sure can't afford to be spending $4 in fees everytime I want to buy something.

What are you buying that fees are that high? Lightning fees are specified in PPM, with a lot of nodes opting for 100-1000, that's 0.01% to 0.1%. As a comparison visa and mastercard are close to 3% + some minimum amount
