Been thinking about Dunbar’s Number and also the example Milton Friedman gave demonstrating that no one person knows how to make a pencil, and that is a relatively simple thing. Mostly thinking about how it all ties into freedom, independence, and what degree of interdependence is necessary. Does there exist some level of technology that is ideal for human wellbeing, or is the form of the technology more important than the complexity? I think the latter is probably the case.
