I’m anxious knowing I need to defer both of my midterms for this week…
How do you message your profs and say, “I was in three hospitals last week and ended up being seen urgently at the emergency eye clinic because my autoimmune disease is trying to attack the nerve behind my right eye. I am in intense pain and can’t read or track text. I definitely cannot study or write an essay or midterm.”
I have NO CLUE what to say. I hate being medically complex. I know they don’t need as much info as my accommodation contact, but they need to know enough to approve my deferral request. :(
