Pet hate: websites which have prominent "sign up" links on the front page but hide "log in" behind a menu. I'll need to sign up to your site exactly once, but I'll need to log in every time you decide to ignore the "keep me logged in" checkbox. Which for some of these sites is "every time I visit".
