The goal shouldn’t be to please them anyways. If I wanted other people to mimic my opinion I would talk to the mirror. Having a different opinion is the whole reason I we talk to other people.

fully agree. i say this all of the time. you can't please everyone and you're going to kill yourself trying to do so. just be open and honest. everything else will fall into place.
