I connected an old Huawei JSN-L21 running Android 10 to my PC and asked Codex to deploy OpenClaw on it and connect it to my Meshtastic node through the router. It installed Termux, OpenClaw, and MeshClaw. It even patched MeshClaw 🤣 I have absolutely no idea what it changed there, but whatever.
Then it hooked the whole thing up to the DeepSeek API and also installed Termux:API to control the phone's sensors and hardware. Now DeepSeek can take photos, make phone calls, speak through the speaker, write simple code (as much as DeepSeek-V4-Flash can handle), and do a lot more.
And all of this is controlled through Meshtastic — and I didn't write a single line of code for any of it.
