In just a couple of days, AI helped me do something I hadn't been able to bring myself to do for years: switch to Wayland.
The agent even put together a plugin —
https://github.com/lessucettes/hermes-sway-plugin — and can now fully control my window manager and retrieve data from it.
What had always stopped me from moving to Wayland were all the small bugs, glitches, and inconsistencies. AI is excellent at tracking those down and either fixing them or finding ways around the limitations.
Yesterday, I also managed to turn Emacs into an MCP server, so now the agent can work with my editor in almost exactly the same way it works with the window manager.
