A few years back, Achachilabtc returned to his home country, Bolivia, to 'Bitcoinise it.'
Since then, he and the team at Bitcoin Research (@BitcoinResearch) have made an incredible effort to do just that.
They've built Bitcoin tools for the Bolivian context, onboarded over 100 merchants, and educated countless number of Bolivians about Bitcoin.
And because transactional privacy is at the core of their mission, they've recently created their own Fedimint-based wallet service and have begun onboarding their community members to Fedi.
